we defintiely are not.

Howver, this bama team in it's current NOvember form is better than last year's bama team I think, which is crazy considering how elite bryce was. Something just seemed off about them last year and I imagine a lot of it can be chalked up to both coordinators. This year's team while not as talented or sexy top to bottom is just playing better and more sound football.

honestly I expect bama to be in it for 4 quarters. I hope we win and certainly think we can, but I think we're in for a game that won't be decided until late

This.

I too believe that It will be a game that is probably decided by whoever scores last. With little time left on the clock

Yep, which is what I think most of us were hoping we'd see with the coordinator change. A shift in mentality, approach, general feeling watching them play the game. Last year's team (and 2021 to an extent) was very much a "let Bryce run around and do cool stuff" offense, which in general was pretty damn effective because he was a great college player. But it was inefficient, and it was more likely to break down against good defenses (and even more so when he was playing hurt).

The defense, well that's pretty obvious.

I'm ecstatic about the direction of things moving forward, though I'm not sure we have enough to beat Georgia. We're trying to get back to the type of program/mindset that Georgia has been humming with for 3+ years now. Not sure we're quite there yet, and Georgia has completely found their stride.
