yeah. I wasn't one of them, but I can kinda at least sympathize with their emotiosn at the time. It was a pretty trying time for a lot of UGA fans considering how long Richt had been here and how much he meant. From 02-05, 07/08, 12/13 we had stellar QB play and almost every one of those years saw us win a bunch. SEvearl of those years we knocked on the door of a title. Eason was ranked higher than almost any non-Stafford recruited we'd gotten thsi century, so it stands to reason taht if we got him instead of relyign on greyson lambert, it would sovle a lot of our problems. I get it. But obviously the right call was made.

You're seeing the same kinda thing now in gainesville. They all know napier sucks but a lot of their fans were wanting to hang onto him to keep their recruiting class together. Although now most of them are jumping ship so taht's out the window lol
