I’ll tell you what- I’ve lived in Ohio and not been as cold in 15 degree weather as I am in 40 degrees in Memphis or Nashville- it’s a bone chilling cold.
1987 Liberty Bowl- Georgia v Arkansas.
I remember having the debate with my dad. Is it better to be cold or hot. The conclusion- hot. At least you can shed layers. When you’re cold- sometimes there is nothing you can do even with layers.
2000- Iron Bowl in Tuscaloosa.
Lots of people have this one. Winning only made it slightly warmer.
2017 Liberty Bowl- Iowa St v Memphis.
One of those games when not even the wild Turkey cut the cold for long.

I used to be convinced that you could always find a way to warm yourself, so I preferred the cold.
Then I joined the Army and found out just how wrong I had always been. Give me warm weather.
