1983 Gator Bowl in Jacksonville, FL played in a wind chill of 13 degrees. Florida defeated Iowa 14-6.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – In a game played in a 13-degree wind chill, Doug Drew recovered a fumbled punt attempt in the end zone late in the second quarter to give the Gators a 14-3 halftime lead. Neither team could mount a scoring drive in the second half of this brutally cold contest. The only score came on an Iowa field goal to end the scoring at 14-6.
