1993 Cotton Bowl Notre Dame v A&M. Jerome Bettis and Reggie Brooks ran all over our arse. Left at halftime because it was so miserably cold. Slide on ice the entire way back to Arlington. Stranded there for two more days as all the freeways in DFW were iced over.

That’s the one I was referring to above.
Couldn’t remember if it was the ‘92 FSU or ‘93 ND Cotton Bowl.
We, too, left at the half.
Drove straight through to Houston
Hours later when we arrived home I collapsed in front of the fireplace … still feeling like ice was in my veins.
Miserable experience.
