re: What made Milroe run as much as he did Saturday?

(1) From reading stuff and talking to people who know what they are talking about, the pulled hammy stuff the week of the A&M game was not a made up rumor. It wasn't severe, but it was definitely there and it made them much more cautious in using him in the run game (and I'd assume in him escaping the pocket).

(2) That got fully better and the staff focused on both his mindset and the playcalling to make his legs a factor moving forward. As you said, LSU's defense sucks, but there have been open running lanes on pass plays all year. Saturday was the first time he aggressively pushed the open gaps.......and if he gets going int the open field then he is liable to make any defense look stupid.

We will see this weekend, but if he's now fully ready to take off when the opportunity is there, our offense becomes pretty frickin terrifying.
