It was such a minuscule amt of time between the release of the ball and the hit. I don’t know how the defensive player is supposed to stop his momentum at that point.

No. Just like last night, Turner intentionally pile-drove Ewers and Daniels into the un-giving ground, which enhanced the power of the tackle. He rode both of them into the ground. Call it clean all you want, but it’s not. He was penalized for Ewers and Daniels on both plays. The QB really has no way to defend themselves since they are off balance and in a very vulnerable position after letting go of the ball. [/quote]
