You have to beat Alabama with offense and get your defense to guard the long ball. That's it but Kiffin really screwed up the game plan on that day. He's an idiot when it comes to Alabama. Not so much with other teams.

Alabama would love to have teams play split safety coverages instead of having 10 defenders within 7 yards of the LOS at the snap. Defense goes lighter, they can start using that 330lb average OL to lean on lighter personnel.
