with 32 wins in a row.
Here is how History repeats
The SEC CG would win 30
If your opponent is LSU you are destined to lose. If there is a king breaker In the History of the SEC it is LSU
UCF, Alabama, and Clemson have had their double digit win streaks snapped by LSU.
Uga you should be praying for OM or Alabama In December.

So Osborne himself? Probably not. The run he led? Yeah it's up there.

I posted this a while back and there’s a link to an even more in-depth post. Nebraska was really great but they didn’t play a tough schedule by todays standards

it would cement Kirby as more than just a “talent accumulator.”
I'd say going back to back, while beating Bama for the first title, already has cemented him.
As Jimbo in Texas is showing, it takes a lot more than accumulating talent to win at a high level, and Georgia has been getting the most out of their talented players for 2 and a half years now.

If you want to have serious conversations, you need to be more detailed than this.
Overtime wins at home against GA Southern and barely avoiding the final game winning drive against a 3 win GT team are included in your "10 win" argument.

Maybe, but in this hypothetical, it does not happen, so...

And y'all feel free to add other coaches and scenarios to this for discussion. Like the Tom Osborne. I'm just curious as to what it would take for ANYONE to topple Saban from his (deservedly) lofty perch. I remember thinking that no one could ever approach what Saban has accomplished, yet Kirby has a legitimate shot, early in his career.
