You guys are supporting my point that rocky top has a good defense so naturally they keep teams from scoring and we did well enough that second half.
I agree with the rest of your point as well. We can't keep having entire dead halfs in these games and expect to continue to win them.
I also don't understand an earlier point someone else made about LSU lacking the ability to stop the run. From what I have seen Stat wise they do that decently. What they can't seem to stop is the pass.

Yep - agree. Tennessee has a pretty solid defense, especially against the run.

They are pretty bad against both. They are #105 in YPA Rush Defense (4.67). Everyone they've played (including Grambling and Army) (keep in mind Army does not run the triple option anymore, either) has run for at least 3.5 YPA against them. I do think teams have abandoned it as they've gotten into a shootout, so their total yards allowed isn't super high. But on a rush by rush basis they've been gashed.
FSU : 34 for 135 (3.97)
Grambling : 29 for 163 (5.62)
Miss St : 21 for 94 (4.48)
Arkansas : 37 for 137 (3.70)
Ole Miss : 49 for 317 (6.47)
Mizzou : 21 for 116 (5.52)
Auburn : 34 for 139 (4.09)
Army : 43 for 151 (3.51)
And that was with Wingo in there.
