Year 1 (2020 - Covid) 3-7
2021 (9-4, 4-4) Outback Bowl Champions (Great year with someone else's recruits)
2022 (7-6) Liberty Bowl Champions
2023 (2-6) too early to fire him now. Remaining schedule @Florida, Auburn and Mizzou at Home, plus FIU. They have been competitive in all of their losses, 3 to LSU, 7 to BYU, 12 to TAMU, 3 to Bama, 7 to Ole Miss and lost 7-3 to MSU.
He needs more time. He is 10-21 in Conference, but the coach before was worse.

Doing better than Chad Morris isn't much of a litmus test and we're trending in the wrong direction in year #4. Besides, recruiting at Arkansas with a coach on the hot seat is next to impossible.

Sam has now lost nine games by seven points or less.
These last two years Sam has been underwhelming with good talent that had a chance to make some noise in the West.
