Really good point. As soon as it was labeled a head injury and Wrightsell looked dizzy or slow walking to the locker room, there was almost no chance he was playing this weekend. I just assumed Nate got ahead of himself in the presser due to wishful thinking, but it could have been strategic.

Edit: I’d be shocked if there was a neurologist that would be willing to risk his/her reputation (or even medical license) by clearing Wrightsell to play this quickly after a 2nd head injury (and possibly his 3rd as we know he had a setback trying to get back from the original concussion…which may have just pointed to how bad the first one was).
