Also, I think the major programs triangulating on a strategy in the new roster circumstances is part of the reason we have 12 out the top 16 seeds in the Sweet Sixteen. 2 of the 4 that got bounced (Baylor and Kentucky) were clearly due to younger teams getting out-worked down the stretch by more veteran teams. Kansas is probably an outlier because their top scorer was out of the tournament due to an injury. Auburn really just got got by the tale as old as the tournament: average guard play from a high-seed major gets exposed early in the tournament. Auburn was a great team but their guard by committee approach is a risk in the tournament. Alabama may have only split with them and didn't do shite in the conference tournament but I know who is running our offense in crunch time and I know he will play with tempo but under control.

The Sweat Hog is slowly turning into premium brand Frank Martin. In a decade on the job he has advanced past the first weekend one time. Definitely not saying they should make a change, because that would be totally insane, but they do not deserve the kind of hype they get every year.
