Wrightsell would be giving up 4+ inches and a lot of length/athleticism in that matchup. Griffen is going to have to stay out of foul trouble and play a lot tomorrow night. In fact, I'd have his minutes paired with Grant-Foster's while he's not in foul trouble (Grant-Foster goes out, Rylan comes out and vice versa).

After him though, Dioubate would definitely be the second best choice to guard him. We could do a lineup where Dioubate and Sam come in (Sam guards the 4 and Mo on Grant-Foster).

Something interesting Oats said in the press conference after the game (paraphrasing):

A lot of people compare this team to the team from two years ago because they both struggle on defense but these guys love playing with each other.



He seems to be suggesting the 2022 team didn't have a strong connection with one another.
