Did you watch the game? The first 15-18 mins was some of the best defense we have played all year but when the ball wasn’t going in the basket for us on the other end it became a disaster very quick

Yes and what I watched was Florida Miss a bunch of open shots while our guards made unforced turnovers and Rylan basically mentally checkout costing us on both sides of the floor.

Then after the commercial break where Florida's coach chuckled and said they would make some and not continue to miss... they went on a run by continuously attacking the rim for easy layups until they build enough confidence to hit threes.

Our big (Pringle) thinks he's a 3 or a 4 and never floats in front of the rim to take contact and divert them whenever they make these runs so each of those teams I mentioned lean into that whenever they see Pringle on the floor and that is how we tend to lose

We played the 2nd toughest conference schedule in the league with a completely rebuilt staff and roster and Almost won it. No matter how it ends Oats should be commended on the job he has done.

I think of all things that surprise me. I expected Pringle to struggle to defend big guys in the paint. But to be honest, he actually does a pretty good job there and hasn't really hurt us. On the flip side, I thought Pringle would be a very good help defender and rim protector. Unfortunately, he for some reason just isn't.
