I think this is a really, really good rebuilding team that has overachieved.

Last season we could hit the gas and take off or slug through a rock fight with anyone.

This season we're simply not elite — better than 350 teams in the country, just not necessarily those top 15 or 20. We don't have a 7-ft Bediako protecting the rim, a mobile big who plays defense like Clowney, or a Miller who can put the team on his back.

But considering the alternatives, this team has really done well given the obstacles they've faced, and their success should help us to keep adding those needed pieces going forward.

Florida is the team in the 5-8 seed range that I think has the biggest deep run potential in March.

If they can survive their first game (they don't play great against weaker teams), they profile a lot like Miami in 2023: they play their best against elite teams, and they have great guards.
