Can someone explain to me how the play worked on the fumble recovery for Arkansas that never was Saturday? I thought it was called an illegal shift but how did that merit a stoppage of play?

Wide receiver never got set, which means false start before the play starts, so the play never happened.

My explanation is that we are cursed this year. Did Sam run over an old gypsy women's cat or something?
