UGA's running game was a problem, largely due to injury. This week was the first one where UGA had both their #1 and #2 backs healthy for a full game (Milton got hurt against SC, Edwards didn't play until SC).

With those two healthy, UGA had 173 yards rushing vs UK.

Our #3 back is out for the season. Our #4 back is still injured, but when he returns UGA will be solid at the RB slot. Right now we've been using a converted WR as our #2 back and a walk on as our #3.

Yesterday's game makes me fairly confident in our running game once we have our depth back.

It is a ways off but if I were a Tennessee fan (I can't because my mama and daddy weren't brother and sister and they were married when I was conceived) my chief concern about UGAs running game would be that Cash Jones, a walk on TB, whupped Tennessee's arse the same way another UGA walk on of late did....UGAs walkons are heads and shoulders better than Uts scholarship players and it ain't close.
