What a weird year for the Tide....

We have a lot of talent to overcome issues like this. With a better DC really changing our defense it's allowed the offense to make mistakes then figure out a way to win.

In 2008... as the season progressed, I was thinking, "Could it be possible that we are ready - ALREADY??" I knew Saban was different from previous coaches, but even though we were winning, I was still reluctant to believe we were ready to compete for a championship. Losses proved we weren't ready, but I was crushed by the Utah loss. My point? Every year since then, I have believed we were ready, even when we lost. I stupidly believed that every season, we should be in the final. Saban's results have proven that kind of "unrealistic" expectation isn't so stupid. This year, the slow start has made me feel more like 2008 = "Maybe... no maybe not... maybe". In my heart, I don't think we are ready this year - though we have some really good parts. Who knows, we might just get lucky?

Not unless we get the same exact play at home against them lol.
