Easy to jailbreak a great runner when you can hold without being called.

But to your point... we were missing 5 starters against Florida (more than one was on D). Even so, they didn't do much in the 2nd half.

The stats are a little misleading. Etienne had good game, not disputing that. Without the Etienne 65 yard TD, Florida averaged 2.8 yds a carry.

43 carry, 183yds, 4.3yds per carry( 62yd rush)
42 carry, 121yds, 2.8yds let carry

Looks a lot different when you take away that 1 play where 3 open field tackles was missed. A lot of things didn’t go in the Vols favors in Gainesville, it never does that’s why the Vols haven’t won in Gainesville in 21 years now. Tennessee losing in Gainsville this year was more about what the Vols didn’t do than what UF Florida actually did. Including the refs also.
