The issue is execution. Period. Beck has missed some early throws. Receivers have run some routes where they weren’t exactly where he thought they’d be. OL has missed blocks. As the game goes on, we’ve adjusted to the flow and gotten crisper. Also, especially against Auburn, we didn’t feed that 19 guy much, but then we did.

When you see D lineman pushing our guard 3 yards back into the backfield as our RB gets the ball, it typically is not the QBs fault. There could be a scenario when he needs to change a play at the line, but I really think we just have some guys getting beat.
We HAVE to be able to run the ball for our offense to work. If we can clean up some of these stuffs and maybe get someone else to help carry the load for 30 we will be able to do whatever else we want on offense.

The OL has looked decent on pass block and pretty crappy with the run block. I’m tired of seeing 5 OL guys turning to watch a RB get tackled a yard behind the line of scrimmage. UGA’s identity has been control the line of scrimmage, and that has not happened this year so far. When we run successfully, we pass successfully. When we are one dimensional, we struggle.

Every HC, OC, and DB we play knows Bowers is the man, and they all lean his way and look to double or bracket him. That leaves someone else much freer on the field for a 70% passing QB. When they started leaning toward those guys, Bowers went wild in the 2nd half.
