It’s not my intention to be a mod or to whine to you or a mod about anyone or any post. Nor is it to get anyone banned or remove anyone from ban hell. Lol

I’ve prolly been here 20 years perhaps. In the past I posted more. These days, while put eyes on the boards multiple times daily, I don’t post as much as I once did.

I’m older now, 57, and my interest, patience etc in the going back and forth has waned.

So honestly Chicken my take isn’t something you should necessarily rely on as my participation on the board isn’t typical these days.

And I do get this isn’t a black and white deal. There is nuance but it’s a slippery slope when rules are followed or not, not because of a clear breach of rules (not my rules btw nor my “slant” on the rules) but it was a violation but…..that poster is funny or is for the most part a good poster and gets pass after pass after pass.

It just devalues rules in general, gives license for folks to push limits and cross lines being able to say “hey look at what x poster said I did the same and got a timeout and x is still spewing the same” and dramatically increases the use of alters multiples in fact.

There is no right answer. And I sure didn’t wake up, hit the board this morning with the thought let’s get some posters banned.
