I didn't think that was exclusive to LSU. I'd always heard the phrase, "the most popular player on the team is the backup QB." In the case of Aggy, that might be translated to the next head coach.

Well,let's be honest about it. There were years there it was kind of hard to believe you didn't have someone else better buried on the roster.
