I would like to repeat a question posed today by one of the cfb youtubers I subscribe to. I was thinking the same thing and thought I was alone, until he said it.
It seems like the first half of games is flying by. But the second half drags out. But the clock rules for first and second half are the same. What's the deal with that?
Maybe it's me as a Georgia fan, not too much scoring in the first half, but lots in the second, and more commercial breaks when there's more scoring?

I don’t think as many timeouts get used in the 1st half.. as compared to the 2nd half, but I could be wrong with that thought process.
If 2 more timeouts get used in the 2nd half (on average) that will make the 2nd half about 5 hours longer.
