A commercial is a commercial is a commercial.
If I wanted (to know about) said product, I would research/buy said product.
I don't care that a car dealership just got new inventory; I'm not experiencing any health issues to buy your medicine; I don't watch that tv program, so who cares what the next episode's about; I just ate, therefore I'm not interested in your food items; I don't cheer for ____ team(s), so why do I want to know about their upcoming schedule; etc..
It's like when I used to live in an apt. complex, & beside the mailboxes was a garbage can that practically EVERYBODY dumped those weekly fliers we would get.
