UGA trailed South Carolina in the 2nd half at home…
The gap ain’t that large this year.

2 straight natties. Last one score win vs SEC was Mizzou 2022.
Sorry but Dawgs are the #1 SEC team until they lose.

UGA has been VERY slow starting this season.
Only scored 7 points in the first 25 minutes in their opener against UT Martin (scored 48)
O points in the first quarter against Ball State (scored 45).
3 points in the first half against SC (scored 24 and missed 2 FG's and ended the game in SC territory).
The slow starting is a problem. We'll have to see if it's a case of UGA playing down to opponents before getting woken up in the game, or if it's a problem that will happen in big games too. But the more successful rebounds from those slow starts suggest it's not a talent or play calling issue, but rather likely a motivation issue.
That's less of a problem than not having a QB or OL. UGA has talent at every position and they've shown it at various times. Just not early in any games.
