If you look at the portal each year, it's not like there are a dozen guys like Hartmann out there. There aren't. Honestly, 98% of the QBs in the portal are often former 2-3 star recruits from schools like Western Michigan or South Alabama.
A really good QB in the portal from a Power 5 school is kind of rare.
IMO, I think CNS gambled he could work with Milroe and get him to be at least serviceable and he lost. Not saying Milroe will NEVER be a decent QB but he's not showing it this season.
