Not really, the only reason Texas and OU joined the SEC has to do with money. They are not loyal to any league or any little brothers ever since they got double crossed by Nebraska, A&M, Colorado, and Mizzou..
They (the administrators at both schools) don't care who they play as long as the money flows.
It is going to be a nice upgrade in competition though and way less boring watching them play in the SEC.
