You can already see Petrino starting to turn it around. After their destruction at the hands of Florida, they finished out the season 3-4 with the four losses coming by a combined 13 points.

Yeah. I think we are headed in the right direction.
By 2010 we should be pretty tough.
I have no doubt, btw, that someone will take a stab at him once he turns us around. Don't see it happening soon though.

I agree totally. Arky does have a kick arse record in the conference, don't they? They're 2-6.

He won't be their for maybe one or two more years. They lost the best coach to Ole Miss. LSU gave them this game with too many stupid penalties, freshman QB, two DC's and the list goes on. Plus some pretty bad calls, but I listed that last.

It is kinda funny that a UT fan would be hyping an Ark win. Some folks find any slender nail they can to hang their hat on.

At the beginning of the year, they struggled to beat ULM and some D1-AA team. Now, they are way, way better. They are making real progress.

JUst a question: If Petrino-as is opined routinely on this and other sites- is such an over-rated coach( and of course won't have any success in the SEC), why oh why would anyone else ever want him?

Yeah, I wish we played yall next year but the aTm deal made us cancel it. Getting paid $5 million to show up.
