Inexplicable play calls and not taking the pts.

Inability of the Oline to get any push for the running game. It was virtually non/existent when it mattered.

Daniela was under pressure a lot. He made a lot of plays and missed some. He carried the load in first half.

Second half LSU was basically one dimensional on offense. That’s tough. I really think he is good QB. May not be elite but he is pretty damn good. Good enough if coaching decisions early on were better and if LSU can run effectively.

I’m in the minority for the LSU fan base but Nuss had a 5TD 4 INT ratio last year as a backup… He had more interceptions than Daniels when Nuss is not even the starter… 17 passing TDs 3 ints for Daniels (who had 29 total TDs)

Daniels isn’t perfect by any stretch but do we really have substantial proof about Nuss being CLEARLY better than Daniels?

Deep balls are nice but interceptions can really cost you… Daniels was able to move the ball for most of game until Lacy drop… we just couldn’t punch it in once in the redzone… that’s not just a failure on QB but failure on other players and coaching staff
