Critical Theory is predicated on the notion that all relationships are based on power, in particular relationships of oppressed and oppressor. Critical Race Theory applies that concept of oppression to race, where racial minorities are oppressed and racial majorities are oppressors. It sees all things through the lens of race and racial oppression. It’s why strong adherents to this ideology seem to make everything about race and have a victim mentality, blaming all negative or disparate outcomes on racism whether racism is a true factor or not (because it assumes racism).

I’m not saying Deion adheres to CRT. I don’t know him personally and don’t know if he has said publicly that he agrees with that ideology. It just seems that a few recent comments he has made give off CRT vibes to me, as I said.
