Bobo is, overall, a pretty good OC but he has the propensity to make very boneheaded calls at crucial moments. I always look back at 2014 in Columbia, SC as a case-in-point.

Damien Swann picks off the Carolina QB and returns the ball to the 5 late in the 4th. Plenty of time left and the best RB in the country is in your backfield, 4 downs for him to go 5 yards. Instead, he put the ball in the hands of Hutson Mason and, under distress, he throws it away and we get an intentional grounding call which sets us back 15 yards. We do nothing on 2nd and 3rd, and Blair Walsh misses the FG to tie the game. We lose 38-35. Classic case of “run the damn ball, Bobo”.

His offenses will put up a lot of yards and usually a lot of points, but he can just outthink himself at pivotal points in the game.

Perfectly fine playcall with shite execution by our QB to get a grounding penalty.

Funny you do actually point out that walsh missed a gimme chip shot fg in a game we lost by 3, yet somehow it's bobos fault and not Blair's. Weird.
