Exactly. Not only was nobody going to "steal" him from us, but nobody was asking and Sam wasn't throwing his name in the hat anywhere else. Pittman said multiple times leading up to the extension that this was going to be his last job. It's one thing to restructure to add incentives and reward for success, but that extension was completely unnecessary.
