A seven-run first inning proved too big of a deficit to overcome as Alabama fell in Sunday's series finale to Arkansas, 8-0, in five innings.

For the third time this weekend, Alabama (31-12, 8-10 SEC) ceded the first lead of the game to Arkansas (32-12, 11-7 SEC) after a seven-run first inning gave the Razorbacks a sizable early advantage. The scored remained the same until a sac fly RBI in the bottom of the fourth set up the potential run-rule for Arkansas, with the Crimson Tide unable to score in the top of the fifth as the home team secured the weekend series in five innings.
