Oh its OU too. He just let it skip about Tx today. But last year the conf opponents of both OU/Tx combined had 1 holding call. 18 games and only 1 holding call on our opponents.

It will get worse this year. For both teams

The last time Kansas beat OU was 1997. Come on, you have been posting left and right how great Kansas is. You might be better once we leave. But then you won’t have Tx to kick around any longer.

Yes, ours too not yours. I have no beef with Kansas fans but you been posting so much how Kansas will come in to Norman and best OU a lot. So, I hope you hang around after the game to take your medicine. Your weak school chased off the best coach you ever had. Your new coach is good but we’ll see in time if he can replicate what Mangino did.

If Tx loses a game in conf that is disputed by a call, I can see Tx suing commish for costing them millions (depending what it cost them bowl wise). And they have the commish on record rooting against. And conf picks and vetts refs.

Do you actually think there’s gonna be some smoking gun of the commissioner telling refs to be unfair to Texas or Oklahoma? You realize just saying someone should “take care of business “ isn’t gonna win a lawsuit right?

It won’t matter if they win or lose, they can make his life miserable and make things hard on him. This is bigtime sports with lots at stake and that statement will hurt him. You might even see some big money booster/supporter sue just for fun. It was irresponsible for a commish to openly root for a team over another in public. Once discovery starts what hidden ghosts will be found?

You think a lawsuit will make it to the discovery phase based on what Yormark said today? That’s not how this works.

You’re welcome to think what he said was in poor taste, but don’t make wild statements about lawsuits.

I hope he goes to every team in the Big12 with the same message. And fires every ref with a connection to the school. Maybe that team will have to earn something for once. I’d expect them to fail spectacularly because they don’t know what work even is

I’ve never seen this type behavior for any Commish before. He is setting himself up for some legal issues as well imo. You know he likely sent word to refs to be harder on both teams leaving conf. But to openly root for and against existing conf teams playing each other is new territory.
I would think it is natural behavior when a team actively tried to torpedo your conference. Say it in public? Maybe not. Say it in private? Absolutely

frick Texsa. But same for commish. I root for fair reffing regardless who is playing. We need to try and keep some integrity of the sport, what little is left. Imagine SEC commish saying that and favoring aTm over Bama or Georgia.

Missouri was lifting their skirt too but B1G left them on read.

Missouri turned down the B1G offer because of the pay cut. Nebraska jumped at it and the offer was the same what Missouri was given when Missouri wanted a full pay cut. That is when Missouri decided to try SEC and was invited to the SEC as equal with all the other member of the SEC. I guess you didn't like what Missouri took the best offer available out there at that time. SEC is the best conference so far. Missouri made the right choice.

Yes, they did it in 2014 on every page of their media guide:

Texas misspelled 'TEXAS' on every page of its media guide We all misspell stuff sometimes. We try not to do it 200-plus times in the name of our school, though.
