I can’t disagree with any of that. The Tuohy’s were already wealthy…doesn’t mean folks won’t chase more. Whatever the motivation, they made sure to get themselves paid. To me, that just proves their motives were not altruistic. Once that is apparent, it makes everything look really gross.
