Actually it's one first rounder in the last 1 draft. But I'm sure the NFL draft in 2016 was far more relevant to current recruits than last year's...

It shows that Texas cannot consistently put players in the NFL. Bijan was a first round pick. Durham still decided to commit to LSU today even though he plays the same position as Bijan.

If only Texas' head coach was a coordinator for Saban on a national championship team. One can only wonder though...

Texas' head coach coached with Nick Saban for 2 years, one of them being COVID. I'm not going to get into the advantages Alabama had that season.

Sark has been a head coach for a decade and has never made it to a conference title game. He has shown who he is as a coach.

Sure we do! Texas had more first round draft picks than LSU in the last NFL draft, so I guess he sees earning potential in the future

Having to twist words in an argument and create a narrative that doesn't exist certainly helps your cause in this discussion.

So every kid that goes to Texas ever is only about the money? They couldn't be from the state and stay close to home? They couldn't have grown up as fans of the program? They couldn't have seen a course curriculum they liked more at one school than the other?

Your doubling down on "Texas only won because they had more money! " is kind of proving my point on the sour grape
No. There certainly can be kids who go to Texas because they grew up as die hard fans of the program, just like there can be for any other school.

This was pretty clearly not a case of that. When I'm referring to other schools and recruiting battles for top talent, I'm simply saying some schools can offer production and development while others can offer money and nostalgia.

Thank you. I didn't say any of that because I'm not a troll.

You're willing to use context to discredit Sark at Alabama, but will willfully ignore all context behind Sark's head coaching stops at Washington and USC? Good grief, man.

Who says I was the one twisting words? I could very well be right (look at the top reply on this page)

And Texas can also provide production and development. Look at last years draft and feel free to return to this comment after the 2024 draft
