Put a 0 next to Pac 12 in Football.

2004 USC is Vacated just like LSU’s 2015 Texas Bowl.

Thinking about this more—doesn’t the SEC get to claim this one

Either Oklahoma or Auburn would have won it in 2004 if USC had been disqualified at the time instead of in arrears.

Which would retroactively make our streak ten years:

2003 — LSU
2004 — OU/Auburn
2005 — Texas
2006 — Florida
2007 — LSU
2008 — Florida
2009 — Alabama
2010 — Auburn
2011 — Alabama
2012 — Alabama

shite, if we poach FSU and Clemson, the streak goes to 11 and we get another one from 2015-present

2004 USC were still AP national champions and that trophy was was never vacated.

It's very similar to the 1974 Oklahoma Sooners who were on probation, couldn't play in the postseason, or be ranked in the Coaches Poll. They finished 11-0 and #1 in the AP that season.

Same thing happened to Auburn in 1957. They were undefeated, on probation, couldn't be ranked in the Coaches Poll, but still finished the season as AP national champions.
