Maybe even 3

End the east/west divisions with scheduling and do what they’re doing now to ensure that everyone plays everyone

But for the title games have the two teams west of the Mississippi River with the best records play in Dallas and the two with the best records east of the Mississippi play in Atlanta

Declare 2 conference co-champions to get two auto bids for the expanded playoffs, or pick the team with the best overall record (and have additional tie breakers of both are undefeated/tied with 1-loss), or have a 3rd SECCG in Nashville when they complete their new stadium.

This way everyone can have their cake and eat it two.

I swear to God on the Bible that’s the worst idea I’ve ever heard of regarding any topic in any way in my entire life. I literally couldn’t try to make up a worse idea for anything that exists in human history

You idiot. In 2024, there will be only 5 teams west of the Mississippi. 11 teams to the east. You fail geography.

No. There should only be one championship game. Whoever finishes runner up in the SEC should come play the Longhorns in Austin for the championship.
