I mean, you can only beat the teams that are in front of you. If we beat someone, and then they continue to lose, not our fault.
I'd be curious what their record is against current ranked teams.

But you didn't beat a top 25 team.

If you lose to them, then yes. It is your fault. If they continue to lose, then it is a clear indication that they are not a top 25 team.
