So The Team Who has a better record has an 80 percent chance to win?

It's The Other 20 Percent You better worry about. I've seen Alabama Lose to The Barn before when they had a Better Record and Vice Versa. You can throw away Stats Who's Better and all that junk.

IF Bama comes out and puts them away early and Often And Goes into The 4Th QTR About 25 Plus Points ahead then I'll Breathe Easier.

Bama has too much at stake against These Guys And They Know It This Year.I Wanna See Javy Do His Thing On Kickoff Returns..Julio Score Once Or Twice Etc Etc. Don't Take The Barn Lightly That's What causes Losses..Complacency.

If I was a gump (THANK GOD I am not), I would be worried. Talent wise, Bama is no better than AU. Tubs is plenty capable as a HC in a big game. AU made a huge mistake with Franklin and the spread this year, but the offense and Burns have been improving each of the last 3-4 weeks. The biggest difference between the two teams this year has been experience at qb and injuries. AU is going to be healthier than they have been all year. Last week, Tubs said AU was as healthy as they have been since before Vandy when we our 3-4 best defensive players started getting hurt (Coleman, Marks, Blackmon, and Powers). Now 3/4 of those are healthy again.

I think the home field is the biggest factor. If this game was in AU I think AU wins. I still think AU has a shot and think it will come down to the mental state of the Bama team and if they really believe in the back of their minds that AU is very capable of beating them and this is going to be one of the most challenging games of the year. If they do not truly believe this (regardless of what they say), then it could be a long day for the gumpers.

By the way, the better team usually wins this game. This year is a bit unique however. The better team is usually significantly more talented when one team is highly ranked and the other is not. That is not the case this year.
