Ole Miss at 10?

Let's take a look at that schedule.

First 3 - Mercer, Tulane, & Georgia Tech. Wow guys, really brave OOC scheduling there. Pathetic. Ok, so that's 3.

@ Alabama - nope

vs. LSU - maybe going into the season, but you will not be favored by the time game week gets here. Even though you're guaranteed to start 3-1.

vs. Arkansas - ok, so you're at home. It won't be a big spread either way, so maybe you're favored since it's a home game. There's 4.

@ Auburn - Interesting. Auburn's down, but this is a road game. I doubt you'll be favored by game week.

vs. Vandy - There's 5.

vs. A&M - nope

@ Georgia - nope

vs. ULM - wow again on the OOC. How embarrassing. There's 6.

@ State - again on the road, so doubtful you're favored unless their new coach is just horrible.

So I count 6. I think you'll be closer to 6 than 10 once the game weeks actually roll around.

So, even with Vandy as your permanent East matchup, you still felt the need to schedule Mercer, Tulane, ULM, and Georgia Tech to try to inflate your record? 5 gimmes. That's pretty sad. This is why I advocate for 9 SEC games. No SEC school should be able to do this.

And yes, ours is sad this year too. I hate it. Another reason I advocate for 9 games. I don't want to watch us play so many garbage teams in a season.

That Tulane game is in New Orleans. I wouldn't count that as an automatic win just yet.
