re: Pollack ran his mouth to Saban at NC title game, gets fired 6 months later. Coincidence?

Deflecting is a clear sign of insecurity.

What’s to be insecure about?

This is the source of your insecurity:

You can’t stand you aren’t the defending back to back national champs.

To make it worse, you damn sure can’t stand that Kirby’s back to back was better than saban’s.

* whined to the media about epic meltdown in home loss that cost team a chance to play in conference championship; gifted a rematch in championship game without having to play an extra game by media and coaching pollsters

** got into playoff based off of reputation despite not winning a division or conference title again

*** COVID year; played shortened season; didn’t play in any hostile environment against depleted teams that had major talent sit out; beat a team that only played six games for the title; yet still whine that this team is somehow better than ‘19 LSU

Saban’s tenure at Alabama is marked by receiving extra chances and ridiculous privilege that no other coach has ever received. If Saban isn’t Bama’s coach in ‘11 or ‘17, Bama does not get rematches or playoff berths.

I’ve never seen a coach or a fan base take such over the top steps to secure winning titles at all costs even when their team couldn’t win the most important games on their regular season schedule. Then said fanbase whines about injuries and rematches when said circumstances don’t play out in their favor.

People don’t watch Bama because they want them to win. They want to see them lose. Not because they're successful but because their coach and fanbase are the most entitled, insufferable group of people in all of sports fandom.
