There are a lot of NFL TE's that are explosive, strong, and fast, and Bowers will be shorter and lighter than most of them.
Eh, not compared to other guys who record top 40 times.
Here are the TE's who ran sub 4.49 at the NFL combine and their weight at the combine.
Vernon Davis - 6'3", 254.
Dorin Dickerson - 6'4", 225.
Evan Ingram - 6'3", 234
This is the speed bracket Bowers is expected to be in.
Vernon Davis was a physical freak. But all three or either shorter or lighter than Bowers is now. And I expect Bowers to be 235-240 and running a 4.45 40 come the combine. This topic really doesn't matter.
**edit** by the way, 247 lists Bowers at 6'4", 240.
