I attended the 1982 Nebraska beat down of AU in Auburn. As a 71 year old man, I could have run through the holes that the Nebraska OL created to get 10 yards per carry. That was the era of 5th-year senior lineman at Nebraska with Dean Steinkuler anchoring the line. Turner Gill was the QB for Nebraska and Irving Friar was the All-American WR. That Nebraska team was the finest team I ever saw take the field at Auburn.
