A retired Fire Fighter from Georgia died saving 2 young girls in distress.
The young girls survived....he lost his life doing what he was trained to do.
Too many such stories from these last 2 weeks.

I was in Orange Beach in front of Turquoise Place a few years ago when something similar to this happened. A young father in his early 30s had to to in after his 13 year old son who was in the water on a day he had no business being out in the water. Nice but very breezy day with surf conditions far too rough to get more than waist deep in the water. The kid managed
to somehow work his way back to the shore a few hundred yards further down the beach. They never did find the father that I know of.
