Almost exactly playing like 2017. LSU lost to the #1 seed and had to come out of the losers bracket to beat a team that never lost back to back games before twice, burning their ace in the process to get to play a rested Florida team in the finals. I'm getting deja vu. Hopefully the final outcome is different this time around but I can't help but be proud of what our team has done to this point.

I also won't make excuses about Florida's easy draws. If LSU had taken care of Auburn and MSU in the regular season that could be us in that "easy bracket". It's not Florida's fault that the tougher teams on their side of the bracket couldn't get to Omaha. Going 3-0 to get to the finals comes with its benefits that the Gators get to reap.

I like this LSU's team's grit and our bullpen has stepped up in a big way since the SECT so this particular Tiger fan isn't going to cry foul if we end up on the losing side. I love the LSU/Florida rivalry in all sports, would love for LSU/Florida to be a perm in a 3-6-6 schedule in football.
