The true hillbilly country in the SEC is limited to eastern Tennessee, eastern Kentucky, northeastern Alabama, and northern Georgia. The rest is a mixture of rednecks and white trash. Rednecks and white trash are virtually the same thing, although the ones you find in Florida are a different breed that give off that energy drink & crack vibe.
There's also a contingent, albeit small, of the Vandy fanbase in Mid TN that falls in the redneck category. You can tell just by looking at the two whistlers upon first glance

You can still be a redneck and be wealthy. That's the difference between white trash and rednecks - money. White trash people like to act like they're from the hood and dress like thugs. That's what comes to my mind when I hear "white trash".
