He’s not really wrong. The SEC schedules announced are pretty fricking brutal. I’m all for it because I think it will make the game like the NFL.

Is it fair that Ohio State is going to automatically get in at 11-1 after playing no one but Michigan and a solid LSU team is 9-3 bc they had to play Georgia, Bama, Tennessee, and maybe a surging Texas or Oklahoma?

Ohio State got in the playoffs with 6 wins in 2020. Saban has a point.

At some point, winning your games is important. Do I think Georgia could've beaten and would've been favored over Notre Dame every year they made it? Absolutely.

Alabama could've lost to A&M or Texas last year and still would've been favored by Vegas over TCU.

And I know it won't go over well on here, but LSU lost four games last year and three of the four were not close and one of those was to the last place team in the West. He couldn't beat that team. They played four teams in the ap or coaches final top ten. Bama was the only top ten team that didn't beat them.

At some point you have to own what you are.

But he’s only making the point because his team didn’t get in. Not that it makes him different from pretty much any other coach.
