Chris Lemonis won a title in year three. That guy is the Gene Chizik of college baseball. He hasn't even made a Regional either of the two years after winning the CWS.

But you know what? MSU can fire him at any time, and the fans still have the NC they watched their team win.

They are also about to be in a complete rebuild and they are not in the top 10 when it comes to spending on their baseball program. They could be down for a while. It is not worth the risk. I would rather know my team is going to have hope every year than win one and then fall off the earth. I lost all passion for basketball during the 20 years of trash we had to endure.

People can brag about having the best record over a certain period of time but that is nothing but stats and as they say stats are for losers.
